Finals Week

Hey everyone!

Wow, sorry about the late posting! I didn't realize that NOVEMBER was the last time that I posted!

Well, we're right in the thick of finals week. I'm actually working on my "Digital Portfolio" that is credited as our Educational Technology final. It's really neat. If you really put the time and effort into such a project now, this is the sort of project that CAN be re-used for the future...on a professional level.

In fact, Ms. Mislevy has told us that more and more applicants are encouraging the presentation of electronic portfolios! I definitely intend to use (at least) portions of my portfolio for when I go into the "job market."

I'm actually creating my portfolio using "googlepages." The application is really easy and it's free to use! I've had the ability to organize my web-pages, write descriptions, attach links, and add graphics! For someone who considers herself a "technology immigrant," I admit that the web-page isn't half bad!

It's crazy though, just how much time you can find yourself working on one thing! I've already put in a few hours to the project, and I feel like saying a few more will go into it is under-rated! Oh well, we'll have to see over the next few days... :)
